About Terry Richard Hamilton
Hello and welcome to my site. The work currently on display is from a collection entitled Painful Beauty. It is a tribute to a friend and a blessing which I had the pleasure of having in my life for the better part of four decades. She was my friend and inspiration a true Gift from God. Her life here made my battles and burdens lighter. I said a gift, and she was. I have to Praise the God of Heaven for the lessons learned, as she was the gift he used to motivate me. And though she is sorely missed I will never forget the Love and care and kindness God has shown to me in her. These pieces are just a few of the colorful parts she brought to our lives. I love her forever plus one day.
About Me
Terry Hamilton has been involved in Fine Art Painting and Design for over 30 years. He is inspired by life and the things around him. His portfolio also includes pencil drawings, abstracts, digital art, still life, graphics, and painting. His education is a combination of a gift from God and some formal training. He uses a mixture of resources for his subjects and is not afraid to use the surrounding things to get the output he desires. Inspiration is found in a multitude of people, places, and things. The development of his work is enhanced by all artists old and new... any technique and mediums that make the end result exciting. Learning is always first and foremost. He feels it keeps his work fresh and fluid. Everything seen through his eye is an opportunity to grow in the creation of his pieces. They reflect a deep sense of emotion and the things that make for stronger ties to life and to his personal and spiritual beliefs.
